There also have various festivals or events all around the year, however, the Bai Dinh temple hosts a large festival on the sixth day of the first lunar month drawing huge crowds. Buddhist rites are performed in the new temple in conjunction with traditional rituals from the old temple. Most local people come here to pray for a good new year as for family whom they love, for the good healthy and work well as especially for people working on the farm, hopefully for a year not too damaged.
